If they completely lose track of multiple spreaders in multiple dense

difference depends mostly on how many hidden cases there are right
now, how quickly they are found, and whether they are self-isolating.
Under such scenarios one can't predict, only prepare.

OK - here is the back story that I can see

Twiggs County has 6 fire stations - its a rural area - main roads are
45 mph limit but you can probably do 100 - all flat - mostly straight
- shallow curves

Maybe all 6 fire stations are totally volunteer - no pay whatsoever

4 of the stations seem to operate under the County EMA Chief - the
other 2 are city owned and operated

If I had to guess I would guess that city taxes pay for the city Fds
and county taxes pay for the 4 other stations

the citys own their own stations - the other 4 stations are owned by the county

the new station will be 1 mile from the Jeffersonville City Fire
Station - which seems quite small and old - the new station will not
be in a very good location

seems that a much better idea would be to fold the 2 city FDs into the
County FD - and build a nice new station in Jeffersonville next to the
Courthouse / Sheriff Office - from there they would have good access
to 6 major roads heading out of town

Lots of newspaper articles about new fire stations mention that ISO
wants stations within 5 miles. So the FD builds a new station - more
homes are then located within 5 miles of a station - and supposedly
their fire insurance premiums will go do. This story line is quite
common.

Irregardless of the reason for - or - history of the ISO "requirement"
- this seems to be a primary determinant of fire station locations
across the USA.

Of course many fire departments report that 80% of their calls are for
EMS. That has to be another factor to consider when building new fire
stations.

Lets make this more interesting. Lets plan to rebuild every fire
station in the USA. Where would you locate them? How do you get the
biggest bang for the buck? Would 50 stations per state be enough? With
a fleet of patrolling minivans or drones?

station has to be placed 1 mile west of the village - therefore, for

only 1 has PL - maybe they use these for FG ops - no indication of any
MO3 in use - (no MO3 freqs listed - no MO3 TGs listed - no mention of
patches - no other mention of FG channels)

Maybe - Philly now automatically has all units go to these FG channels
when at any incident - which means the first due pump operator or
first due ladder chauffeur has to keep an ear on 2 channels apparently
(FG and Dispatch or Tactical)

Anybody know the VRS (vehicle repeater system) radio channels in
Northampton County PA? (MO3 - mobile extender - portable extender)
