Odawara Japan - paid stations

afaik - these are the paid stations - there are 2 battalions (to use
usa terminology) - the battalion HQs have ladders and rescues and
command cars - all stations have at least 1 pumper and 1 ambulance

so the total lineup is at least - 11 engines + 2 ladders + 2 rescues +
11 ambulances

let me look at photos - maybe some stations have 2 obvious engines - yup

looks like the lineup actually is - 2 engines at each station except
for the bottom 3 that just have 1 engine each - matsuda and ashigama
seem to have 4 engines (maybe some are spares)

the one big outlier is south branch - they have 2 engines and 1 ladder
and 1 rescue - come to think of it - they are listed as odawara fd not
odaware city FD - but they are listed as a branch station - ??????

this seems to be exactly the same as tokyo fd - each major station has
2 engines + 1 ladder + 1 chief + 1 ambulance - each branch station has
either 1 or 2 engines plus 1 ambulance

note - Niski Otomo branch sta does not seem to have an ambulance -
thats an outlier also

(and dont forget - there might be some vol stations - but maybe this
agency has phased out all of the vols except 1)

(note - 1 branch station has an extra bay that might be a volunteer
engine - thats a definite outlier)

(note - maybe the vol engines carry NO water)
