Developing Coastal Storm in the East
An unseasonably cold and strong storm system will produce heavy snow
and blowing snow across the Northern Rockies and Central and Northern
Plains, and critical-to-extreme fire weather threats from the Central
and Southern Rockies to California. Severe storms are possible on
Thursday ahead of the front. A deepening low will produce heavy rain
and gusty winds across portions of New England.
