sure would be nice if LA County Fire put up a bunch of official feeds
like Orange County CA just did
12 primary UHF channels plus maybe 10 VHF channels - sure would be nice
might cost $1,000
could save $1M in operational costs
for example - look out window - see smoke in hills - turn on scanner
feed - hear call being dispatched for the hills fire - no need to call
911 now
could save millions of lives - no need to tweet - 'leave before you
are ordered to leave'
