back 6 years ago we logged the following ... seems they have a very
similar scheme in 2022
========================
Hanscom AFB had an Alert 2 - plane with a dead engine
as soon as units started to respond they got cancelled
Based on listening to multiple feeds at Broadcastify, I believe that
the response was -
Hanscom AFB FD - maybe all units - (no feed)
Masport Hanscom FD - their 1 crash truck probably - (no feed)
Bedford Eng 3 + C2 - (really bad audio from the HT that is the source
of the feed - barely can hear the dispatcher)
Concord Eng 3
Lincoln Eng 3 - (the live scanner audio feed is from the comparator /
voter - the audio is great (aka superb) but the attention tone is very
muted compared to the pager tones and the field units - maybe because
the attention tone comes from the console)
Lexington Eng 1 + C3
I think the response was supposed to be Lincoln L1 and also a medic
ambulance from Lexington, and maybe a Lexington Ladder also. But when
the Alert 2 came in, Bedford Rescue was in Lexington on a EMS call -
so that kinda bolloxed the typical response.
There apparently was no radio traffic on MetroFire. All notifications
were done via telephone apparently.
IIRC - North Metro FG should have been the FG channel. It should be
listed on the Hanscom running card.
Note - Hanscom AFB is a combined military / civilian airfield that
sits where the borders of 4 towns come together.
