they seem to be trying to answer this question - where should
ambulances take patients?
1. military trauma center does not want you unless you are a military
dependent - and they dont want you if you are having a stroke - and
they dont want any kids unless they have a priority 2 medical issue
2. the free standing ERs only want Priority 3 patients or someone who
is 10 seconds from death
3. not sure on the neonatal and pediatric stuff - its kinda convoluted
- there are 1 or 2 childrens hospitals
4. there are 3 hospital chains and 2 independent hospitals plus 1 VA
hospital and a military trauma center
5. they can handle either 450 to 600 lb patients
6. no mention of burns
