On Thursday, January 26th and Friday, January 27th we will begin
upgrading and replacing all of the Norfolk County Channel 1 (NCC1)
radio infrastructure and adding additional sites.
This means that the NCC 1 signal will be degraded at points during the
upgrade. Please remind your dispatchers and command staff that they
can reach Norfolk County Control via Fireground 2 (NCC2) if they
cannot hail NCC on Channel 1 or by telephone at (781) 767-6831.
The Fireground channels (NCC2 / 3/ 4/ 5/ 6) will not be affected
during this upgrade.

(they did get a new radio license recently with several new transmitter sites)
(they can back this up with sat phones and cell phones and firstnet
and comirs and cb and ham radio and frs - hell throw in 33.50 and
33.54 also)
