audio level and the signal was fading in and out at times)
roll call called by someone who gave callsigns of wpxd997 and wnnu947
- maybe central ct state university
all stations were heard the same - apparently everyone was on a
repeater or repeater channels or talkgroups
no paging tones were heard
this is apparently a weekly test since one station said 'have a nice week'
the numbers in the rollcall might be the fcc callsign numbers - they
dont match the cmed number nor the tax numbers
the fcc radio license for wpxd997 - which is 1 repeater on 800 mhz in
bloomfield - shows control points at North Central CMED and Central CT
State University and UTC Aerospace (which is a factory near the big
airport and they have their own FD iirc) - radio license is held by
Hartford County Emergency Plan ish - the county fire mutual aid group
- who has a coordinator at the big airport per the fcc license
============================
https://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Hartford_County_(CT) - list
of most fire and ambulance stations here
apparently ambulance service are mostly separate from the FDs in
Hartford County - even though probably all of the FDs serve as EMS
first responders - Hartford has always had 1 or 2 private ambulance
companys to handle 911 calls - maybe every other day one company gets
the calls - its strange - always has been
=====================
there might be a weds 1900 hr test on the fire net also
need to check if hartford county fire mutual aid has a website - and
explains who their dispatch point is
