iirc - 10 or 20 years ago - cops were killing a bunch of black men -
then BLM started - then 5 cops were killed in Baton Rouge (maybe
Shreveport) - then 5 cops were killed in Fort Worth or Dallas - in
single incidents - then the killing of black males slowed way down

correct me if I am wrong

maybe the killing of black men did not slow down - but murder rates
have gone down over the last 4 or 5 years iirc

going back further - the murder rates started to rise in 1960s and
then peaked around 1975 - and then fell by half into the 1990s - iirc
