deck gun the trees

there are few good choices in a real fire storm - too windy for
aircraft or backfires - deck gun the trees with mud or saw them down -
maybe they could use a ladder pipe with fire retardant also - run the
ladder pipe at 1000 gpm - suck a tanker dry in 2 minutes - then
connect to the next tanker - then connect to the next tanker - sadly -
in california - finding 3 or more full tankers within 10 miles of each
other at any fire is impossible

if that big tree in that photo was fully involved in flames - we
suspect that deck gun could knock out the fire in 10 seconds - but no
one does that - because the fire is always too close and too hot - but
if you soak everything down before hand - then the fire would approach
the engine much more slowly - and the deck gun COULD vanquish the foe
