white county fd is getting a new new station for $1.7M - price has
gone up $200K in last 2 years due to inflation and tariffs
there are basically 3 FDs in the county - county fd + helen fd +
cleveland fd - (maybe also usfs and state forestry)
looks like 4 of 7 county fire stations have 2 man crews 24/7 - and 3
of the county fire stations are staffed by volunteers only
the 2 city stations might have crews of 2 or 3 on duty 24/7 or
weekdays or something
county ems runs 4 stations with 1 amb each - staffed by adjacent
county hospital - yes - weird - they run mostly from the county fire
stations
county fd has dropped their average response time to 8.15 minutes now
as of 2024 - not really sure what 8.15 minutes means - either 8 and
15/60 or 8 and 15/100
county fd had 50 vols in 2018 but only have 17 now
county fd has 3 shifts
county 911 dispatches all public safety units basically - the 3 FDs
and county ems and probably sheriff also - plus helen pd and cleveland
pd - there are 18 FT and 3 PT dispatchers
