not sure how much of this is true

if someone got shot 1 block from a hospital - and there was a clear
bls ambulance at the hospital - wouldnt they send the bls ambulance
for the scoop and run?

not sure how many als engines they have - lets see if fire fandom can

cant find any info at fd website either on als units vs bls units -
there is a standards of cover document from 2023 which might give the
info

would not be too surprised if every pumper and every ambulance has a
medic on board - except for maybe a dozen bls only ambulances
