police mutual aid channels in los angeles area are weak

gonna guess that there are VERY few radio channels in los angeles
county that have true countywide coverage - and that would only be for
mobiles - not portables

maybe LA County FD has 2 - the ch 8 and ch 4 maybe - maybe V1 to V5
are countywide but we dont think they really are

LA County Sheriff might have 1 channel that is countywide

CHP Blue might be countywide

154.28 and 155.475 might be countywide - ie a dispatcher can be
reached from anywhere in the county

155.34 might be countywide also

ANF might work countywide - but not in Malibu

Icall and Ucall and Vcall might work countywide - but only if
disp[atchers are really on the ball

dont thin there is any countywide EMA channels - unless FEMA or State
OES has something - maybe 154.22 and 154.16 and 153.755 - but there
are very few repeaters on those channels afaik

la county might hava trs that is countywide - maybe on 800 mhz - maybe not

county dpw might have countywide channel - but only because they try
to do everything on 1 channel
