arlington fd radio test 8 am rollcall

all radios seem to honk on and honk off

2 squawks on every message - 1 squawk on key up and 1 squawk on unkey
or key down

certainly it was most radios if not all

we hear the test everyday so we usually 'tune out' the squawks - our
brain tunes out the squawks -we dont 'hear' them even if they are
there

maybe tomorrow we can listen intently and see / hear which radios do
what - maybe all the portable radios sqawk but the mobiles dont

the dispatcher does not squawk at all iirc

we could get the radio recording from broadcastify also - but we need
to wait 30 minutes iirc - unless the new broadcastify homepage has
immediate transcripts - not sure
