someone did a drop on the hollywood fire and was immediately released
to go to the palisades fire

this might have been a Tac channel or a Division channel - probably a
Tac channel - 800 mhz - with all the choppy ness it probably is a
synchronized simulcast channel - which iirc applies to all 18 channels
used by LAFD - even though not all channels are simulcast citywide
iirc

this is the time period somewhere between initial dispatch and first
arrival for ground forces

pretty sure that command post location was 3 miles from the fire

note the mention of a human repeater - thats very interesting -
apparently, they knew that the 800 mhz worked like crap in that area -
