as we posted before - most federal wildfire dispatching is
consolidated - all of the feds use the NIFC educational and training
materials - all aviation contracts are coordinated (even with the
state forestry depts apparently) - calfire air tankers routinely do
initial attack on federal lands in California afaik

response areas have been coordinated between agencies since around
2000 - for example - all BLM land in western Oregon is protected by
usfs or odf iirc - all cal fire land in sierra county calif is
protected by USFS - these jurisdictional swaps have been going on for
probably 50 years

this just looks like more nazi trolling out of the white house - when
homes start burning this year - trumpler will just shrug his shoulders
and say - ' we tried to merge them all ' - which will mean absolutely
nothing - as explained above
