most have 300 gallon water tanks per info - that would make them TY6
engines iirc (west coast lingo)
there is really nothing stopping them from going to fires in
california or maine or anywhere - but they are not part of the federal
wildfire equipment ordering system afaik - becaus they dont take the
simple wildfire training class and they dont fill out the paperwork to
sign up
iirc there have been ty6 brush trucks that have gone from maine and nh
to california or montana
