carroll county has been the wild wild west of ambulance companies for
a long time - every 5 years they change names and / or providers - its
always been very strange - but they manage to keep multi staffed
ambulances on the road 24/7 - with the police and fire departments
typically providing BLS EMS first responder duties - and the private
ambulances provide als ambulances
would save many headaches if they went to a countywide public safety
system - just rip that bandaid off and start over
the county 911 center dispatches about 90% of the calls in the county
- wolfeboro still has their own dispatch center iirc but they just
have 2 fire stations
