first companies went to the wrong location - so they ended up in east
boston - wasnt the companies fault - thats where the dispatcher told
them to go at the very beginning
what should have happened - if the fire was on 90 eastbound - E41 and
L14 should have responded from Allston and been first due - other
companies - maybe E10 and L3 could have gone westbound maybe - or 5/2
could have gone westbound from East Boston - also - E3 and L17 could
have gone contra flow on I90E from Albany St - maybe - not exactly
sure how those ramps are set up - sounds like contraflow was going to
start at 100 Massport Haul Road actually -that whole interchange
between I90 and I93 is a disaster area - there needs to be signs every
10 feet on the roadways to tell drivers exactly where they are located
- so they can call 911 and tell them
FIRST thing on these calls - the exact location of the incident needs
to be confirmed via camera - otherwise - this is what you get
note that C6 went to HOC - HOC is the Highway Operations Center - that
might be at 185 Kneeland St - they have all the cameras and fan
controls there afaik
