if massachusetts was new south wales australia
iirc all ambulances in nsw are operated by 1 agency - except maybe
private and military ambulances
iirc all police are in nsw are operated by 1 agency - except the
federal police and special police (like border patrol or federal
police or private security)
we know that there are 2 primary fire services in NSW
If western Massachusetts FDs were set up like NSW - there would
probably be 'paid' or 'paid on call' structural fire stations at
Pittsfield and Great Barrington and North Adams and Greenfield and
Northampton - all the other stations would be staffed by volunteers
with huge brush trucks - there would be 1 fire dispatch center for the
entire state
we dont think that the fire stations would regularly respond to EMS
calls - maybe just cardiac arrests and crashes with entrapment
they only get snow on the mountain tops in NSW - There are 4 ski
resorts in NSW: Thredbo, Perisher, Charlottes Pass and Selwyn Snow
Fields
anyone have better info?
