Subtropical Storm Nicole (Advisory #5A as of 7:00 a.m. ET) ▪ Located 385 miles ENE of the northwestern Bahamas ▪ Moving WNW at 8 mph ▪ Maximum sustained winds are 50 mph ▪ Nicole is expected to make a transition to a tropical storm later today and begin strengthening, and it is forecast to be near or at hurricane strength by Wednesday and Wednesday night ▪ Nicole's center is then expected to move across central and northern Florida into southern Georgia Thursday and Thursday night
