Inspira began providing 9-1-1 ambulance service and interfacility
basic life support transport to Dennis Township and Woodbine in
January. It has also expanded its non-emergency medical transport
services to northern Cape May County, and serves as the dispatching
agency for Dennis Township. When a resident calls 9-1-1, they directly
reach an Inspira Health dispatcher. This arrangement follows the
innovative model begun by BEC in 2006, when they became the only
private organization in New Jersey to own and operate a dispatch
center.
