stop truck 1 stop

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2026/03/23/nyregion/laguardia-airport-plane-crash-truck

atc recording at nyt

truck 1 was cleared to cross runway 4 by atc - so apparently truck 1
did see the plane before they were hit - but too late then

the "beeps" on the radio tape are "doubles" - someone else was trying
to talk at the same time that the controller was talking - could have
been Truck 1 yelling for everyone else to stop - could have been
anyone - maybe their message got thru but you dont hear it on this
recording because of the location of the receiver used to make this
recording - the receiver is probably away from the airport

bottom line - dont believe your lying ears totally

atc guy sounds like a white guy - he probably wont be arrested by ICE
- hypothetically presumably

Kathryn Garcia, the head of the Port Authority, said that one of the
officers in the fire truck would be released from the hospital this
afternoon, and the other would be kept overnight for observation.

Info about electric dept mutual aid

from stowe vt 2025 annual town report

MUTUAL AID

As with firefighters, police officers, and other emergency responders,
electric utility line workers routinely coordinate across communities
to restore power and support public safety following storms and other
emergencies. Mutual aid is coordinated regionally through the
Northeast Public Power Association (NEPPA) and nationally through the
American Public Power Association (APPA). In 2025, Stowe Electric
Department provided mutual aid assistance to a limited number of
utilities, including Green Mountain Power in March, and the Vermont
Electric Cooperative and Washington Electric Cooperative in December.
In addition to mutual aid deployments, SED's Tree Crew worked closely
with the Town of Stowe and the State of Vermont throughout 2025 to
remove and trim trees in targeted areas, supporting storm preparedness
and roadway and utility safety.

stowe vt wants 4 ff/emt in station 24/7

The budget maintains the existing level of services. It adds two
Firefighter/EMTs. One would start in approximately July 2026, and the
other would start in approximately January 2027. This is to help us
meet the goal of always having four Firefighter/EMTs at the station to
help provide surety of service in a timely manner.
