on the last call - the city fire station was heard saying that they
would respond with (units) 1 and 4 - and baywatch was heard
acknowledging the call
not sure if the acknowledgements are always heard or not
iirc the city fd has 2 or 3 people on duty - los angeles county fire
has maybe 1 engine fully staffed with 2 or 3 people - and baywatch has
medics on duty - this is 24/7 - plus there are offduty and paid on
call staff in reserve
