listen to 16;40 to 17;25 on this 31;36 minute long recording

this was dukes county massachusetts - police channel - 1010 am et on
sunday november 12 2023 - 2 units had been sent to a domestic incident
and the dispatcher called to check the officer's wellbeing

afaik this is a conventional P25 channel on 156.2175 R

sounds like to me that both units answered 2 different times and they
both blew each other totally off the air - there was a male officer
and a female officer at the scene - note that when the male officer
did reach the dispatcher - he was loud and clear

this is probably the same exact thing that happened to FDNY back in
2001 and which led to them immediately dumping P25

you can listen at 640 ish on the tape to hear the comms when the call
was first dispatched - all the messages were fine then
