looking at the numbers - they dont quite add up
if there are 14,000 courses open now - and 10% closed - then there
must have been approx 15.5K to start - so that means that 1,500 have
closed since 2006 - maybe 700 closed between 2006 and 2009 - and
another 800 closed between 2009 and 2019 - so the rate of closure is
decreasing
but who cares anyhow
