Two Arctic Blasts For Central/Eastern U.S.; Locally Heavy Snow in the
Great Lakes Today
The first of two arctic blasts will bring well below normal
temperatures to the eastern U.S. today into Saturday while the western
U.S. remains warm. Locally heavy lake-effect snow will fall in
northern Michigan and northwest Pennsylvania today. An even colder air
mass will plunge into the central and eastern U.S. Sunday into next
week, likely setting numerous daily temperature records.
