not enough time to evacuate - really?

Hurricane Ida intensified too quickly to do an evacuation

really?

I need to check out what the FEMA Daily Ops Briefs said. But it seems
that the storm fired up on Aug 26 and hit Louisiana on Aug 29. So that
is 48 or 72 hours perhaps.

At 50 MPH a chair car could travel 2,500 miles in 50 hours.

You do the math. Actually - I just did the math for you.

Whats with the news media? Are they ALL lap dogs now? Or cant they do
simple math?
