the fire engine numbering scheme seems to be based on the rural fire
service area numbering scheme which in turn seems to be based on a
alphabetical listing of the rural fire areas
belt has engine 201 and tanker 207
black eagle has engine 301
cascade is rural fire 4
fort shaw is unknown so far
gore hill has brush 605
monarch has engine 707 and seems to be rfa 7
neihart is unknown
sand coulee has eng 905 etc
simms might be rfa 15
stockett is unknown
sun river is unknown
ulm might be rfa 15
vaughn has Eng 1401 etc
cascade farmers fd has eng 1700
other FDs are great falls fd and ang fd at great falls airport and
malstrom afb fd
and there is also maybe ... cascade rural + missouri river +
centerville + dearborn (which is in cascade and lewis and clark
counties] (they have engine numbers on their website ... I didnt grab
them ... might have been 1600]
other odd balls are belt rural and belt city which both have fdid numbers
I dont see this info listed anywhere else on the internet ... unless
it is in their 2007 county wildfire document
