to evacuate or not to evacuate - that is the question

1. are you rich? if yes - fly to buffalo ny
2. if not rich - do you enjoy living in emergency shelters?
3. do you have good property insurance? if not - how long do you think
you can sit on your roof and keep it from flying away? how about
getting some cargo straps - throw them over your roof - and drive
stakes deep into the ground - (should work - 1 strap every 10 feet -
start at the edges - or use rope or electric chords or garden hose or
sheets)
4. what can we do about flooding? dirt berm around house covered by
tarps secured with stakes
