quite the story - bad crash in 1969 killed 2 high school kids - took them 2.5 hours to get the kids out - county churches came together and raised $8,000 to start up the rescue squad
now - they are all volunteer - and primarily serve as a technical rescue team - and as a backup ambulance service - County EMS is the primary ambulance provider with 1 or 2 fulltime ambulances
