it just occurred to me - even if the helo pilot fixated on the wrong
jet - he STILL was not supposed to fly thru the glide path / approach
path for the jetliners - you can be DAMN sure of that - you either
cross above or below the glide bath - you dont go thru it - ever
try to imagine what the approach and departure paths look like at
airports - big Vs that stick up out of the ground - you either go
around them or under them or over them - its not that terribly hard to
imagine - but you need to have the brain processor power to do it -
because there are no glideslope signs floating up there in mid air -
you would think that their electronics would display the glidepaths
and ground landmarks and even street names and flight obstructions
