apparently they just shuffle paperwork between local FDs and State Forestry
connecticut gets snow all winter long - and the trees dont burn very
much in the summer - so CT State Forestry only has approx 6 small fire
trucks - most local FDs have pumpers and some have brush trucks
(smaller - maybe 4X4 - older - can get scratched and dinged in the
woods)
