maybe we should call it a 'collision at same altitude'
====================
iirc the initial response was -
847 pm - 1 dc fireboat with 2 guys
847 pm - alexandria fireboat 201 - because they heard DC M1 talk about
it - maybe 1 guy onboard
847 pm - dca fd - 1 medic ambulance + 1 airboat + 2 foam trucks
847 pm - dca pd - several cops sent to runway
need to check to see if there was confusion re 33 approach vs 33 departure
850 pm ish - dcfd sent bunch of units
857 pm ish - fort myers fd sent 1 unit maybe on orders of assistant chief
9 pm - alexandria fd and arlington county fd and fort myers fd sent a
bunch of units
is it possible that not even one 911 call was received about the
crash? if 911 calls were received - who received them? what did they
do with the info? hey statter911 - you on this? we did not hear any
mention of 911 calls on any of the radio tapes that we have listened
to so far
anyone remember the 1973 plane crash at logan airport at boston? just
1 construction worker saw the crash and he drove to the fire station
and pounded on Chief Arena's office window iirc
