one major problem - 200 of 356 engines will have 1 call per month in
the winter - they will all die of boredom - unless they move up to
southern California during the winter - no mention of that in this
article
note - cal fire engines are 500 gpm with 500 gallon tanks with 3 or 4
person crews - no defibs - have vhf highband radios - do have scba but
might not have any bunker gear
