approx 20 photos in the video

Shipley got a new station in 2017 - they are in the Blue Mtns - they
have 2 engines and a pickup truck - all vols (since they are part of
the NSW Rural FD) - apparently they unofficially use SCBA - this is a
rural area

Australia

-----------------------------------

apparently NSW has 2 major FDs

NSW FD (or whatever brand they use - Fire Service NSW or something
like that) has structural pumpers and rescue trucks and maybe some
brush trucks - firefighters are all paid - either fulltime or retained
- retained are equivalent to "paid on call" in USA - retained
firefighters are alerted via pager or mobile phone - iirc they have
350 stations with 3500 FT FF and 3500 retained FF - recently NSW FD
has been adding Community Fire Service units - apparently they are
minimally trained volunteers who do initial attack and overhaul on
bush fires

NSW 'RURAL' FD is all volunteer - apparently they just have brush
trucks - but they might have some structure engines - even though they
are all the same size basically - and the NSW Rural FD website DOES
say that they do structural firefighting - iirc they have 2,000
stations with 70,000 vols

I think that each FD has a separate radio system but they have a
unified dispatch center - maybe
