using multi FG channels

just thinking out loud just thinking outloud

1991 - Los Angeles City - Interstate Bank highrise fire - multi
fireground (FG) channels used - noted in US Fire Admon report irc - or
maybe was noted in city fd after action report

FDNY in VHF days - 153.83 was primary FG channel for everyone - 154.43
was command channel iirc - each battalion had assigned 2ndary and
maybe tertiary FG channels (which were inputs to distant Boro repeater
channels)

FDNY in UHF days - 1 primary FG channel - plus Command channel - plus
extra channels

Boston - Ch 2 153.89 - only to be used for emergencies - then everyone
got HTs - Ch 2 was primary FG - Ch 4 154.265 was 2ndary FG - Ch 3 was
154.22 iirc - maybe used as tertiary FG and as MetroFire

Boston UHF days - Ch 2 is primary FG - Ch 4 is Evac channel at
highrise fires (used by companies above the fire that are evacuating
trapped people)

Washington DC FD - each fire is assigned a group of ?4? channels - one
is a ATG channel - meaning that the BC can use the ATG and be heard on
all 4 channels at the same time

Rural areas - many areas have "water supply" channels - the (ground)
tankers operate on that channel

USFS - 168.20 was a common short range channel for many users - then
maybe 170.00 was added as a A/G channel - then air to air channels
were added - then multi air to air and air to ground channels were
added

Cal Fire - maybe 1960s and 1970s - unit nets and regional nets - then
tac channels added (input to distant repeaters) - then 151.22 as A/G -
then multi A/G channels

more?
