radio tape for the Medford Oregon wildfire

https://archive.org/details/or-ashland-alameda-drive-wildfire-broadcastify

this is worth listening to - there is both police and fire radio channels

first alarm was 3 brush trucks I think - from Ashland FD I think - a
more or less normal brush fire call on a high fire danger day

and immediately dispatchers get bombed with 911 calls of people trapped

in the first 25 minutes they did not really seem to call very many
extra units - maybe 1 more brush truck plus 2 state forestry (ODF)
brush trucks plus 3 structural units

air attack was mentioned at 1656 and 3045 on the tape - that might
have been a big delay in establishing air to ground comms

after you listen to this - check the latest news storys and see how
many blds were destroyed in total
