Does your dispatch tell you what units are going or do you guys decide?

Both, but it's an evolving process. Until recently this County didn't
use a box alarm type system, each station brought what they had
manpower to bring. Recently a box alarm system was developed, however
its not county-wide yet. The exception is Salisbury, and in this case,
as the 4th due company, we were specifically dispatched for a truck
and an engine.
