Washington—Senators Dianne Feinstein and Alex Padilla (both D-Calif.),
Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Congressman Jimmy Panetta today
introduced the Wildfire Emergency Act, a bill with the goal of
reducing catastrophic wildfires in the West.

seems very narrow - spending 5 billion trillion dollars to teach 10
guys how to use drip torches

they need to do trillions in thinning - and they need to start today -
otherwise, this summer could be a total burnout and 99% of everything
west of the Mississippi River could go up in flames - and there would
be no need for controlled burns in the next 100 years

what are the odds that 99% of the west could go up in flames in 2021?
check out the wildfires of 1988 -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowstone_fires_of_1988 - and make it
3 times worse to account for litter buildup since 1988

then look at the 1947 fires in Maine -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Fires_of_1947 - then look at
Gatlinburg TN in 2016 -
