4/19/2022 8AM: Summit Fire and USFS Fire are responding to a small
flare-up that has started inside the burn area of a fire that started
near Doney Park a few days ago. The fire was called the Tunnel fire
and is located off Schultz Pass Rd northwest of Doney Park. The
flare-up is small in size and not threatening any structures at this
time.
4/19/2022 11:20 AM: The Timberline area WEST of Hwy 89, including
Hutchinson Acres and Wapatki Trail neighborhoods, are now in the SET
stage due to a wildfire burning in the area. Residents should be
making preparations to evacuate if ordered by CCSO.
FROM COCONINO NF: The "Tunnel" wildfire is up to 11 acres and growing
due to wind conditions; we are responding and dispatching aviation
resources. This wildfire is in the Timberline neighborhood, southeast
of the peaks.
At least one air tanker is responding from Winslow. Tanker 105.
