It's incredible how much information gets lost from person to person.
The tower states they can't get communication with a flight, and the
transponders are turned off. It starts with a flight attendant calling
the reservation desk, probably because she doesn't know how to contact
the tower, saying there are multiple people stabbed, one person has
their throat slit, and there are 2 men in the cockpit. Then, she
relays they are middle eastern men and their seat numbers. Down the
communication line...that leads to 'possible hijacking', none of the
pertinent information gets relayed.
