TRAVIS COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT #1 & #7 JOINT COMMISSIONERS'
COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES MAY 11, 2022

I. Call to Order at 5:31 pm by Mark Evert Roll Call: Present:
Commissioner Evert, Commissioner Roney, Commissioner Cameron and
Commissioner Giroux(arrived at 5:45pm). There was a quorum of
Commissioners present. Also present was Fire Chief Donnie Norman,
Assistant Chief Dave Wallace and Division Chief Tim Robeson. II.
Citizens Comments: Adam Lewis wanting to inform everyone about the
CERT meeting taking place on May 28th at K-Oaks. III. ESD1: Motion by
Commissioner Cameron to approve the treasurers report for period
ending April 30, 2022 and all invoices over $2000.00, seconded by
Commissioner Roney. All voted aye and motion passed. ESD7: Motion by
Commissioner Roney to approve the treasurers report for period ending
April 30, 2022 and all invoices over $2000.00, seconded by
Commissioner Cameron. All voted aye and motion passed. IV. Motion by
Commissioner Roney to approve combined minutes from April 21, 2022,
seconded by Commissioner Cameron. All voted aye and motion passed.

V. Chief's Report: We won the sales tax election by 122 votes. Asst.
Chief Dave Wallace discussed response time comparisons for the past 3
years and current month by month response times.

VI. Commissioner's report: ESDCC meeting they discussed the
communication upgrades taking place that cost an estimated 12 million.

Motion to adjourn by Commissioner Evert, 2nd by Commissioner Cameron.
