around 10:00 - maybe at parliament - maybe txtfire is not allowed to
respond in this high income area actually - maybe by gentlemans
agreement of some sort - or maybe they do - I cant imagine that the
paid FD wants the vols to be clogging all the roads with these tiny
trucks
smaller pumpers mostly - 3 or 4 aerials - maybe dozen tankers - many
home built - maybe a dozen bigger pumpers
maybe mostly barangay / 'neighborhood council' fire trucks
txtfire is the dispatch group - apparently all calls are transmitted via text
all volunteers I am sure
this confirms my belief that manila is served by 3 or 4 groups - and
they are primarily based on dispatch scheme - paid FD + chinese vols +
txtfire + philippine vols + assoc of philippine vols
however these barangay FDs are funded - they dont seem to have a huge
amount of money - but they have plenty of volunteers obviously
