union claims there are manpower shortages
at most only 6 patrol officers are available to respond to structure fire calls
Heavy Rescue 42 only has 1 driver assigned - it responds Code 2 to
calls (no lights and sirens)

broadcastify has a feed for Sunnyvale FD that is active - today have
heard Eng 41 and Eng 241 at the same call - maybe Eng 243 at some call
also - yesterday heard - Eng 234 from Sta 4 - Eng 45 - Eng 44 - Eng
244 - Eng 46
Sunday - 7 am local - tone - radio check - Stations 1 2 3 4 5 6
replied - then checked red phones - (not heard via this scanner feed)
- then dispatcher says - "all red phones are operational and wishing
you a fabulous day"
engines are responding to ems calls - 1 engine per ems call - along
with a "county" ambulance - county ambulances are not heard on thai
feed / channel - response times seem to indicate that these engines
are full time staffed
