1903 - Wilmington Mass did not have a FD but they had telephones to
call for help from the Woburn FD and the Reading FD
took them 13 years and 2 major fires to get organized
Woburn FD took 5 minutes to get horse drawn steamer to Wilmington -
whats that 60 MPH? - them some fast horses!
Wilmington had a North Wilmington fire station at some point - maybe
around 1903 actually
presently - Wilmington has just 1 station - as they have for the last
50 years at least
