another thread that is very difficult to figure out
so what is the real channel to listen to?
further info that would be useful - which FDs are fulltime vs vol? who
has pagers vs HTs? who uses VHF vs 800? what are the PSAPs? what are
the dispatch points? how are the channels configured? how are they
used? do they have MDTs?
the simplest setup would be - countywide dispatch - all FDs - channel
1 - home channel for all in service units - paging / alerting /
response / arrival / fireground / everything - but that might get
konda busy (unless they java MDTs with status buttons)
