overview - clearwater potlatch timber protective association is
basically a division of the state forest fire service - in fact in
2021 cptpa closed their dispatch office and began to be dispatched by
Grangeville Interagency Dispatch (which also dispatches for IDL /
state forestry + usfs + bia) - cptpa seems to have at least 6 dozers
with transports - plus 1 or 2 rented helos - and 2 detection planes -
and maybe 1 or 2 lookouts - and a bunch of engines of all sizes (need
more info but iirc wildcad used to show that each of their 4 bases had
at least 4 engines each - maybe not all staffed 24/7 though

cptpa also protects army corps of engineers land with a fire boat or
two - at dworshak dam
