The Braintree Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) is located at the
Braintree Police Station located at 282 Union Street and overseen by
the Braintree Police Department. The dispatch personnel provide call
taking for all emergency calls and dispatching services for police
related incidents. Fire and medical incident calls are transferred to
Brewster Ambulance Company for dispatch to the Braintree Fire
Department and their private ambulance service. The Braintree Fire
Departments assigns one fire fighter at their headquarters to monitor
all calls that have been transferred to Brewster Ambulance and assist
with dispatching instructions.
