Merrit Island National Wildlife Refuge - FL - MIR protected by the US
Fish and Wildlife Service under the Department of Interior - a federal
agency - possible the largest FD in the USA with maybe 450 wildland
fire engines - mostly Type 6s like this one
MIR might have a wildfire helo 12 months of the year - maybe not -
cant remember exactly
MIR is next door to Cape Canaveral - maybe with a coop wildfire program
